Swimming Pool and Spa Inspection

pool inspection
A home with a swimming pool and/or spa is a highly desirable feature for some homeowners and potential homebuyers. Before purchasing a home with a pool it is important to have a professional pool inspection. Pool Inspections can determine if the current condition of the pool and surroundings are up to the current safety standards. Pools that have not had proper maintenance can be subject to many unsafe conditions. A pool/spa inspection can be conducted during your home inspection for a small additional fee of $100 for your added convenience.

When you are looking to invest in a home with a pool, a professional pool inspection can alert you to any damages, repairs, or potential hazards that may arise based on the current state of the pool. We inspect the surface deck and check the coping for pitting cracking and the surrounding deck for discoloration. We check the pump operation, inspect for leaks at plumbing joints to and from pool and/or spa and inspect filtration system for proper operation and skimming. Heater operation is tested if applicable. We check for adequate pressure and inspect back washing systems for clearances and discharging. The electrical components for the swimming pool and/or spa is also inspected to include the pool lights. We do not perform water test but we will inspect gates, fences and/or barriers to make sure they meet the safety guidelines.Home
